For total microbial counts of aerobic microorganisms on surfaces and in food and other materials of sanitary significance. The medium can be used for: general raw materials, raw milk, dairy products, meat, fish, seafood, water, dehydrated products.
Each kit comprises
Plastic tube container hermetically sealed.
Plastic paddle (9cm2) coated with culture medium on both sides.
Plastic cap that may be taken apart from paddle.
Store at 15-25 °C. Protect from light.

Tryptic Soy Agar
Nitrogen, Vitamins and Carbon provided by the Enzymatic Digest of casein and Enezymatic Digest of Soybean Meal. Sodium Chloride maintains osmotic balance in the medium. Agar is the solidifying agent.
1. Follow recommended procedures in the Instructions for Use.
2. If the product has been refrigerated, allow it to return to room temperature before sampling and incubate aerobically at the recommended conditions.
Interpretation of Results
Bacteria: Grow good.
Yeast: Grow good. Creamy white to cream colonies.
Moulds: Grow good. Colonies may be coloured, velvety or powdery to fluffy.
For the dipping method: The sensitivity of the test is from 1×103 cfu/gr or ml.
Used contaminated test material should be handled by standard decontamination methods.
